What you’ll learn

This starter course walks you through the R interface, core syntax, and the basic data structures you need to do real work in R. You will write, run, and save scripts from inside a hosted RStudio session — no installation required.

Navigate RStudio with confidence: console, script editor, environment, and plots.
Understand the core data types in R: vectors, data frames, factors, and lists.
Import simple datasets and run your first exploratory summaries.
Write basic reusable scripts instead of working only in the console.

Who this is for

Perfect if you are completely new to R or coming from Excel, SPSS, or a first statistics unit and want to make R feel approachable instead of intimidating.
